Says, what else are you gonna do when you have a 3,500 word essay on Historical Materialism due in 48 hours, that you've barely even started? Go out on the sauce with your best m8 watching some hilariously inadequate non-league soccerball in the deepest, darkest reams of Derbyshire, that's what.
In all honesty though, this was an absolute belter of a groundhop, joining the list of Ilkeston, Sheffield FC, Matlock et al as another picturesque ground in this thoroughly blessed region.
Belper Town nicknamed the Nailers (as a reference to the historical nail manufacturing industry in the town). The town itself is a mightily quaint Victorian mill-town that had a splendid array of ale houses for somewhere so small.
