Arundel 6-1 Bosham
Pre-Season Friendly
Attendance: 60
Admission: £4
Arundel had been on my wishlist of grounds to tick off for some time. The ground is famous among hoppers for the clear backdrop of the town's magnificent medieval castle.
My good friend Dan Scanlon informed me he was keen to accompany me, with the prospect of attaining many instagram likes to boost our commercial brands proving too much to succumb to.
Despite the ghastly weather for a late July summer outing, we really enjoyed our to,e together, basking in the glory of our companionship. Arundel's pleasant optics stem further from simply its glorious history. It is a wonderful town, with some very pleasant watering holes. The local Arundel Brewery produced some sumptious beverages for us to try, of which I bought many from the bottle shop to drink pitch-side.
It was a fine game to watch too. Bosham opened up the proceedings early on with an incredible Beckham-esque goal from the half-way line. Fortunately I was paying attention, but Daniel was too busy trying to boost his twitter brand.
Arundel made mincemeat of them after the early blow, however, playing some wonderful traditional West Ham football befitting of a glorious town that showcases the best of our nation's heritage.
In the evening, I was due to travel to Leicester in order to try and do sex with a lady. However, after one beer too many, I ended up waking up in Wokingham next to Daniel's beloved Yorkshire Terriers!
Like all other groundhoppers, my quest to lose my virginity continues!
