For once - ground-hopping with an actual bit of context. As a prelude to a long overdue night out in Nottingham with my mate Danny Scanlon, a student at polytechnic university NTU, a chance to renew the Dover-Aldershot fanfreundschaft after our successful harmony outing across the lower Balkans in mid-September.
Meadow Lane has long been on the hit-list and particularly desired as an FA Cup away tie for many a reason, but nothing has yet materialized. I could have waited until we are promoted to League 2 next season, however, this would be an apt scouting opportunity to see assess how by the best side we encountered (by a country mile) last season would fare since their elevation.
